1. Carole Cole
Every day from 9PM, Camberley Scout Hall opens its doors to Carole Cole and her team of volunteers who provide, food, clothes, showers and a bed for Camberley’s Veterans and The Homeless. Carole was recently named one of Eagle Radio’s Local Heroes.

2. Bill James
After a 4-year-old girl stopped breathing in her classroom, Headteacher Mr James from St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School in Aldershot gave her CPR and ultimately saved her life. Bill was recently named one of Eagle Radio’s Local Heroes.

3. Chloe Richardson
Chloe is a young carer from Woking who has been helping her Mum and Dad live their best lives since she was young and does it all with a smile. Chloe was recently named one of Eagle Radio’s Local Heroes.

4. Colin Stokes, Stephen Langley, Tim Sharp
In 1999 Colin was diagnosed with Prostate Cancer and subsequently set up The Prostate Project which for the past 10 years has been raising money to open a brand new Centre of Urology at the Royal County Hospital in Guildford. The trio were recently named Eagle Radio’s Local Heroes.

5. Simon Cowell
After suffering a nervous breakdown in his City job, Simon Cowell went from saving Wildlife in his Family Kitchen to dealing with 20,000 emergency calls a year with his Charity, the Wildlife Aid Foundation in Leatherhead and presenting Channel 5’s Wildlife SOS. Simon was recently named one of Eagle Radio’s Local Heroes.

6. Eve Thursfield
Eve was a remarkable woman who dedicated her life to others. From being Welfare Officer in the Falklands War and during the Aldershot Bombings to starting Relate in Camberley and championing mental health in Hampshire. Eve was recently named one of Eagle Radio’s Local Heroes.

7. Jess Byhurst
Whilst studying at University, Jess experienced changes to her mental health and singlehandedly started a charity to provide advice, funding and support for those also suffering with various mental health issues. Jess was recently named one of Eagle Radio’s Local Heroes.

8. Ray Langrish
Ray is 69 and has just completed his 19th Marathon for See Ability Denecroft a home in Guildford Town Centre that supports 6 adults with sight loss. Ray was recently named one of Eagle Radio’s Local Heroes.

9. Pete Daines
Pete started the Yateley Silverbacks to play basketball with his friends, now he is inspiring so many young people in Hampshire. Pete was recently named one of Eagle Radio’s Local Heroes.

10. Team Freddie
When their friend’s two year old was diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumour, 4 friends got together and raised half a million pounds so Yateley's Freddie Hunt could get lifesaving treatment in America. Mark, Bonnie and Debbie were recently named one of Eagle Radio’s Local Heroes.

11. Charlie Norton
When 16yr old Matt took his own in 2013, fellow skater Charlie Norton decided to start Tappy Jam, an annual memorial skateboarding meet up in Farnborough to raise awareness of mental health, suicide and to say that it’s ok for young men to discuss how they are feeling. Charlie was recently named one of Eagle Radio’s Local Heroes.
